Q2: Are your outdoor large sculptures waterproof?

A: Yes. Waterproof performance is one of our key production standards.

For outdoor fiberglass sculptures, Keyon Art Décor applies a complete gel coat layer (surface resin protective layer) during manufacturing. This ensures a smooth surface finish without bubbles, pinholes, or micro defects.

For structural joints and connections, we do not use ordinary silicone sealants. Instead, we apply weather-resistant structural sealant as the base protection layer. Additional resin coating is applied inside the joints to create a secondary internal waterproofing system.

For the sculpture base, we usually recommend maintaining a 5–10 cm clearance from the ground. This allows rainwater to drain away naturally and prevents long-term water accumulation around the flange plate and bolts, reducing corrosion risks.

For hollow sculptures, we also install hidden drainage and ventilation holes (approximately 5 mm diameter) in concealed areas to prevent internal moisture accumulation.
